PARENT INFORMATION MEETING

We will be holding a virtual Program Information Meeting on May 12th at 7:00 PM.

TRY IT OUTS

In order to participate in our program, dancers must attend ONE of two try out days. This event will not only give dancers the opportunity to attend a Future Triton Dance event before registering for the upcoming season, but also help the coaching staff determine the proper team placement for the upcoming season.

 

Try It Outs will be held on May 18th and May 19th from 4:30-6:00 PM. It is MANDATORY to register for and attend ONE of these dates. If you have a conflict, please email futuretritonssharks@gmail.com to find a solution.

 

Dancers should wear comfortable athletic attire they can dance in and either jazz shoes or tennis shoes. No bare feet will be allowed. Please bring a water bottle.

 

Official team invites and registration materials will be sent out no later than DATE. Families will have until DATE to register for their teams. Team invites are final 

 

TEAM PLACEMENT & PARTICIPATION

We are a no-cut program, meaning all dancers who wish to be part of our team will have a place within the program. Our mission is to provide a positive and inclusive environment where every dancer has the opportunity to grow, improve, and contribute to the team's success.

That said, not all dancers are guaranteed to perform in every routine or competition throughout the year. Dancers may be designated as an “alternate” or removed from routines at any time. Team placements and the assignment of alternates, are determined by the coaching staff based on a variety of factors such as skill level, commitment, readiness, and what is best for the team as a whole.

Being designated as an alternate does not reflect negatively on a dancer’s value to the team. Alternates play an important role and may be called upon at any time to perform. If a dancer is designated as an alternate they must still attend all team activities and performances and follow all team expectations. 

All final decisions regarding team placements and performance opportunities are made at the discretion of the coaching staff and are not open to appeal.
